International Collaborative Grand Rounds (ICGRx) are delighted to share a new partnership with the Patient Safety Movement Foundation (PSMF). Dr David Mayer, CEO, PSMF and founder of the Telluride Experience and Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety will be chairing the patient safety panel at the global ICGRx Summit taking place on 28th June 2020. The Summit will see speakers and delegates from around the world connect virtually to share knowledge globally and improve healthcare.

ICGRx is powering a global conversation to improve healthcare with participants from over 29 countries engaging till date. PSMF joins organisations such as the NHS Health Education England in lending their support to ICGRx in promoting open access learning in healthcare.

Dr Rajiv Sethi, Founder, ICGRx said “As a Telluride Scholar (Class of 2015) I am honoured that Dr Mayer and the PSMF team have joined forces with us to support our shared mission of sharing knowledge globally to improve healthcare. Indeed, it is the inspiration from Patient Safety leaders such as Dr Mayer that have provided the motivation to create a platform such as ICGRx. I am excited that PSMF will be working with ICGRx as a key partner to prioritise patient safety among students, trainees, clinicians, patients, leaders and wider stakeholders.

Dr David Mayer, CEO, PSMF said “The Patient Safety Movement Foundation is excited to help support ICGRx and is looking forward to the upcoming global panel sessions on Sunday, June 28th. Bringing together international thought leaders on current issues and challenges in healthcare is critically important if we are going to solve these problems and make care safe for both patients and healthcare workers.”

About International Collaborative Grand Rounds (ICGRx):

“ICGRx” (International Collaborative Grand Rounds) hosted the world’s first Global Grand Round in 2016, revolutionising the age old tradition of Grand Rounds by harnessing the power of technology to share knowledge globally and improve healthcare. We believe sharing knowledge across healthcare professionals, students, academics, patients and stakeholders has never been more important, particularly at a time where a pandemic is disrupting society. The ICGRx team creates free, open access global live experiences bringing together experts as well as healthcare students, professionals, patients and stakeholders to discuss important topics in healthcare and share best practices to improve health outcomes.

On Sunday, June 28th, 2020 we will host the inaugural ICGRx summit featuring international panels discussing important topics, such as health education, medical technology, innovation, gender disparities in medicine, diversity in healthcare, society’s response to COVID-19, and prioritising patient safety. We hope that these global open access discussions will encourage international collaboration to share knowledge and improve global health.
